Thanks to my friend, Jean, I've been able to leave my students in the hands of a trusted teacher so I can take some Fridays off. After two weeks of getting the yearbook done and teaching after-school tutorials, having two three-day weekends was such a blessing. What have I done with my time? Well, first I sleep, and then I try and be productive, which sometimes happens. I was able to register, get some things framed at Hobby Lobby, plan the nursery, read, watch movies/TV, bake, and just relax. I discovered etsy and love the baby decor (especially the wall art) on the site. We just picked
these out and I am so excited to see them in use! I still have quite a few things left to do until Baby A comes, but am on schedule so far:
April: - Clean/organize everything in sight
- Scrapbook our wedding
- Register @ the hospital
- Pick a pediatrician
- Register for cloth diapers (I'm figuring it out this Saturday!)
- Feebly help Aaron as he and a family friend redo the nursery bathroom
May:- Buy bookshelves for the living room
- Actually hang pictures/decor on our walls (I figured it was about time after 2 years of living here...*hides face in embarrassment*)
- Set up recycling bins (yep! We already do paper, but will add glass, aluminum, and plastic)
- Clean the carpets
- Pick pillows and curtains for the living room
- Set up the nursery!
Aaron's Aunt Tina came into town for a visit this past Saturday and surprised us with a few early Easter presents. I nearly salivated as I unwrapped these:

Although we won't use these until the baby begins to eat solid food, it is so reassuring to have it already! This is exactly what I had planned to get myself, so I was soo excited. Thank you, Aunt Tina!
This week's excitement: Sarah comes to visit!
